Time is flying by and seasons are about to change, just in time for our annual CCRI Women’s Retreat.
“Changing Seasons: It’s Your Turn” is inspired by Ecclesiastes 3. We will journey through the rhythms of life, discovering that every season is a divine appointment.
In each appointment, there are challenges and changes, but there is an ever-present constant: Who is in control!
We have a choice about how we will handle each season, each change. Will we become dissatisfied when our goals are not met, become depressed and confused by loss? Will anger or sadness stop us short of trusting in God’s timing? Will things ever make sense, ever have meaning? In this study, we will change our perspective; instead of thinking “under the sun”, we will learn to “look up,” “look within,” “look ahead,” and “look around” to find contentment and joy, as our faith grows.

Quilt Raffle
By the way, this year’s king-topper quilt (89” x 81”) is called “The Ebb and Flow of Time,” another gorgeous original by Cheryl Herrman. This quilt is done in an angel-wing bargello pattern with ombre batiks and framed in the four seasons, each capped with sunflower cornerstones. This beautiful quilt will go to one lucky winner at our raffle on September 21, 2025. If you want to purchase quilt raffle tickets in advance, please let me know.
